What is our aim?
To help families with their children's sleep by giving them the tools to feel empowered, supported & able to make positive changes to overcome any sleep challenges. All methods and practices are gentle/holistic and do not involve any cry it out methods.

What is your background?
Originally from Australia, I moved to the UK around 10 years ago living in London & working for one of the biggest Media companies as an Advertising Manager. My partner and I then moved to Cobham where we had our daughter and after over a decade working in advertising I decided I wanted to completely change career. I then went on to study at the Babyem Academy to become a Qualified Gentle Sleep Consultant and this is where 'That Sleep Glow' was born!
Why did I start the business?
Having struggled with my own sleep pre &
post baby, I personally understood what It was like to have many a sleepless night. I set up That Sleep Glow with the aim to help families better understand their child's sleep, help with any sleep challenges they may be facing to restore sleep & get their 'Glow' back.

Emily has been a life saver! After a year of waking up every few hours throughout the night and us just plugging along, hoping Fearne would grow out of it and into longer stretches of sleep, we got in touch with Emily following a recommendation. We started working with Emily when we were just about at our wits end and losing hope that we’d be able to do anything about our daughter’s early waking. She’d wake between 3-4am every day and had done for about 10 months at that point - we understood that it was one of the most challenging sleep issues to change and we’d already worked with another sleep consultant to absolutely no avail.
To say Emily has changed our lives since that point would be an understatement. Most importantly, our daughter was so much happier, waking up rested with happy babbling rather than exhausted crying that we’d seen previously.

I came to Emily with what I thought was an impossible task; night wean my 18 month old and get him sleeping in his own cot. We’ve had a few twists and turns along the way but we’re now at a stage where he’s waking only once a night- which is momentous having previously been feeding him every 1.5 -2 hours. Emily’s strategies were easy to follow and given with a lot of support. It’s exactly what I wanted and what my little one needed. Emily took the time to really get to know all our concerns and worries regarding our little one frequently waking and feeding constantly through the night. She put a plan in place to help our little man gain confidence in his cot and go longer stretches between feeds. She has not only been our sleep coach but also our guru of knowledge! Emily has helped find out why our little one was struggling with sleep and made changes to help him be more comfortable, whilst also getting him to sleep for longer periods of time. She’s been on hand when I have had tough nights, to talk them through and get down to the reasons why. Annabella was generally a good sleeper but out of nowhere she was doing cat naps during the day and waking up a lot throughout the night - to say I was exhausted is an understatement (I also have a toddler to run after!). I was being consumed by so many pieces of information from google, and following very regimental schedules- I was setting myself up to fail as nothing was working for us. After a couple of telephone consultations with Emily, we were able to identify the root of the problem. Annabella is napping for so much longer and having much less disrupted sleep. We spoke with Emily about two items of our son’s sleep that we were looking to improve: The first was removing night feeds and the second was to try and encourage a later wake up in the mornings. From the start Emily was engaged and professional, asking relevant questions about our son and providing us with detailed but concise instructions on how to help. She also checked in with us after our initial call to see how we were progressing and gave suggestions on what to tweak.
